State of Play

Gday Pickers,

Live music, once a staple, in pubs and clubs around Australia and the world has been hit pretty hard over the last couple of decades. I remember Friday and Saturday nights there were bands playing in almost every venue. Due to perhaps the changing times, old man speak 😂 and pokies however this dreaded COVID situation has been super difficult for everyone especially musicians and bands. Things in Australia are on the mend and we have to opportunity to get out and see some bands. Not sure when we’ll get the big international acts back but in the mean time get out to your local venue and have a beer or two and see some great local Australian bands and artists.
